At First Nazarene, we do not want anyone to hurt alone.

Stephen Ministry is a one-to-one, confidential ministry that provides Christian care to those who are experiencing loss/grief, loneliness, crisis, or challenging situations such as chronic illness, unemployment, divorce and countless others.

Stephen Ministers are highly-trained lay people who meet with their care recipient once a week to listen, encourage, and provide emotional and spiritual support for as long as he or she needs.

Are you a caring friend who listens and takes time to hear the heart of a hurting person with unconditional love and acceptance? If so, please consider becoming a Stephen Minister.

Are you hurting or going through a hard time? Do you need a listening, non-judgmental, caring ear and heart? If so, please contact us to ask for a Stephen Minister.
